Local Bounti Greenfield facility consists of a 440,000 square-foot controlled environment agriculture (CEA) hydroponic greenhouse that utilizes a proprietary agriculture system to produce and sell leafy greens. The facility is sited on 42 acres at the Cypress Industrial Park in Mount Pleasant, Texas, and will include six vertical indoor grow towers for propagating seedlings and a greenhouse building for growing and packaging the final products. When operating at capacity, the facility will produce 9 million pounds of leafy greens per year.
