ALC Auburn Celebrates Opening of Springhill Suites, Community’s First New Hotel in 20 Years
AUBURN, CA (November 2019) – Local government, community and business leaders will gather Friday, November 1, to celebrate the grand opening of the new Springhill Suites in Auburn, CA. As the first new hospitality development in more than 20 years and now the largest hotel in the area, the property is poised to make a significant impact on the local economy.
The opening will kick off with a ribbon cutting and host representatives from the County of Placer Executive Office, the City of Auburn mayor’s office, community leadership, the regional chamber of commerce, businesses and key investor American Lending Center (ALC) to showcase the hotel and recognize the influx of energy into the community’s local industries. The event features local vendors and community partners, including food and wine from a variety of local restaurants, vineyards and breweries, musical entertainment by Auburn Wind, a booth and demonstration by the local Sheriff’s department and more.
“The community is excited to welcome Springhill Suites as Auburn’s newest hotel development,” stated Auburn Mayor Cheryl Maki. “This is an investment in the community that will vitally support our business ecosystem and invigorate our tourism and hospitality sectors.”
The Springhill Suites received key funding from ALC and the EB-5 program, through which ALC brings international investment into developing areas and supports new job creation. “ALC is proud to partner with Springhill to leverage international investment to support entrepreneurs in Auburn and across America,” said John Shen, CEO of ALC. “Our investments help start new businesses, create jobs and promote growth in local communities.”
“We are thrilled to celebrate with our partners and investors as we lead a new wave of Auburn development,” remarked Martin Murallon, General Manager of the Springhill Suites. “We’re confident we can develop meaningful partnerships with other local businesses and add economic vitality to our community.”
“Cities flourish when strategically invested in,” commented Keith Nesbitt, executive director of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. “Springhill is the type of project that cultivates local economic growth and enhances the community as a whole. It demonstrates what American entrepreneurs can contribute when provided access to capital through private investment and support from financial institutions.”
