Role Description:

We are looking for a versatile IT Systems Administrator to manage all aspects of our IT environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining systems, supporting employees, and ensuring our technology runs smoothly day-to-day. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and working independently.

IT Operations:

  • Manage and maintain company computers, servers, and network infrastructure
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access (Microsoft 365, Active Directory, etc.)
  • Set up and configure laptops, workstations, and mobile devices
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding of employees (accounts, hardware, access

Help Desk & Support:

  • Serve as the primary IT support contact for all employees
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
  • Provide timely and friendly support to non-technical staff

Cloud & SaaS Management:

  • Administer tools like Microsoft 365, PDF editor, Zoom, etc.
  • Manage licenses, permissions, and integrations across systems
  • Evaluate and implement new tools as needed

Security & Backup:

  • Maintain endpoint security, antivirus, and MFA
  • Manage backups and basic disaster recovery processes
  • Ensure company devices and data are secure

Network & Infrastructure:

  • Maintain office network (Wi-Fi, routers, firewalls, VPN)
  • Coordinate with vendors or ISPs when needed
  • Monitor uptime and performance

Vendors & Projects:

  • Work with external IT vendors, MSPs, or contractors when necessary
  • Assist with office setups, moves, or expansions
  • Recommend cost-effective technology improvements

Qualifications

Required

  • 2–5 years of hands-on IT or systems administration experience
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Windows / macOS environments
  • Networking (Wi-Fi, VPN, routers)
  • Experience supporting end users directly

Preferred

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
  • Automated scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
  • Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, MS Admin, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $78,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
