American Lending Center Builds Asian Market Share in Key EB-5 Regions

LONG BEACH, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–

Regional center leads seminars and conferences in Vietnam, India and Taiwan

American Lending Center (ALC), a leading EB-5 regional center, has continued a tour of key and emerging markets throughout Asia comprised of key industry conferences and seminars led by ALC experts.

While ALC has operated in China for nearly a decade, the company recently cemented their presence in Vietnam, India, and Taiwan by opening major new offices in each country in 2018. This shift has been driven by damaging visa backlogs in the United States and ongoing demand for alternative investments. ALC leadership hosted seminars for interested EB-5 investors throughout August and into September focused on growing hubs in each country: Taipei and Taichung, Taiwan; New Delhi and Mumbai, India; and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

ALC is currently one of the largest non-bank SBA 504 lending institutions in the country, having successfully provided over 350 million dollars to American ventures. The company has achieved a 100 percent success rate over its 74 investment projects across 19 states since 2010, investing primarily in rural and developing areas.

ALC executives additionally engaged with industry leaders and stakeholders at conferences hosted by trade associations Invest In the USA (IIUSA) and EB5 Investors Magazine. Recognizing the growing opportunities in the area, both organizations hosted tent pole events in Ho Chi Minh City on September 5 and 6 and in Taipei on September 10. ALC President Bruce Thompson represented the regional center in Ho Chi Minh City as a banquet sponsor of IIUSA’s Global Banquet Series and gold sponsor of EB5 Investors Magazine’s EB-5 Expo. Thompson was joined by ALC Chief Operating Officer Stella Zhang as a banquet sponsor of IIUSA’s Global Banquet in Taipei. EB5 Investors also plans to host their first ever EB-5 Expo in Hong Kong on October 19th. ALC will join this conference as one of the Platinum sponsors.

In a panel on recent legislative changes to the EB-5 program, Thompson noted: “The regulatory environment is changing, but ALC is excited to continue working with investors across Asia and remains committed to offering uniquely successful EB-5 investment opportunities. We as an industry need to embrace efforts to modernize the program that ensure it stays a sustainable pathway of investment and immigration for years to come.”
