LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Members of the American Lending Center (ALC) executive team will participate in the 2018 China-US Business Summit held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, California. An annual event, the summit has been held since 2009, also the year in which ALC was founded.

The China-US Business Summit features briefings and programming to increase communication and cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises in China and the United States, integrate resources between the two countries in order to create mutual business opportunities, and enhance mutual understanding. The event also recognizes prominent leaders advancing US-China business relations, with ALC Chief Executive Officer John Shen presented as the summit’s “Annual Outstanding Entrepreneur” at a banquet and ceremony on Sunday.

“I’m honored to be asked once again to co-chair this prestigious event,” remarked ALC President Bruce Thompson, serving as co-chair for the Los Angeles portion of the summit. “Our company is excited to join colleagues across industries to increase the economic benefits EB-5 and international investment can bring to American communities.”

Also participating in the summit is ALC Vice President and Chief Economist Scott Wagner, who will serve as the keynote speaker for Monday’s forum on investment and financing. Wagner, an expert specializing in the EB-5 program, previously served as a team leader for a group of economic and business consultants that modernized and facilitated the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ adjudication of EB-5 investment projects.
