American Lending Center Prominently Featured at 2018 EB-5 Convention

LOS ANGELES (July 23, 2018)  Key executives of American Lending Center (ALC), one of the nation’s leading EB-5 regional centers, featured as expert speakers at 2018’s preeminent EB-5 Convention in Los Angeles, CA. The company served as a financing workshop and bag sponsor, highlighting ALC’s consistent contributions to the industry.

An established innovator and business leader, ALC received a record-breaking nine EB-5 project approvals in nine different cities for 30 newly approved investors in March of 2018 alone. The company is currently the largest non-bank SBA 504 lending institution, having successfully provided over 350 million dollars to American ventures and funded over 60 SBA 504 projects with parent company RCH.

John Shen, ALC CEO, on Monday led a discussion on Marketing to the World Outside of China. “Our pioneering approach in leveraging the senior loan structure to protect EB-5 capital is vital to our success as an EB-5 lender,” stated Shen. “As we look to new investor communities, it is paramount the industry build upon key best practices, including the established stability of the ALC model.”
Bruce Thompson, ALC President and former Region IX Administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration, presented a second-day session titled EB-5 Reform (and How the Regional Center Business Has Changed). “With new regulations and possible visa retrogression concerns, it’s important for the entire industry to unite around the highest standards and most dependable investment strategies. We need to demonstrate and voice EB-5’s ability to provide sustainable economic benefits to local communities and support investor interests to government representatives and to all stakeholders,” stated Thompson.

Presented by EB5 Investors Magazine, the EB-5 Convention educational and networking event hosts numerous broker-dealers, developers, immigration and securities attorneys, migration agents, regional centers and stakeholders.
