LONG BEACH, Calif.–American Lending Center (ALC), a leading EB-5 regional center, participated in the America West Small Business Lending Conference June 20-22. As a platinum sponsor, ALC’s attendance at this conference highlights the company’s innovative work in the industry partnering with the Small Business Administration.

The America West Small Business Lending Conference provides a venue for training and collaboration among SBA lenders from across industries. Sessions at the conference focus on best practices and feature discussions facilitated by experts.

ALC is currently the largest non-bank SBA 504 lending institution. The company received a record-breaking nine EB-5 project approvals in nine different cities for 30 newly approved investors in March of 2018 alone. A leading pioneer in EB-5 lending, ALC has provided over $350 million in financing to small businesses and funded more than 60 projects in conjunction with SBA 504, 7(a), and USDA loan programs to date.

SBA Administrator Linda McMahon, the conference’s keynote speaker, emphasized that many recent improvements in the loan industry are directly due to the significant and beneficial partnerships with lenders. McMahon further stated that the SBA acknowledges and appreciates lenders’ commitment to U.S. small businesses and expects continued positive growth through such collaboration.

“The pioneering approach our company takes in handling Small Business Administration 504 loans is key to our accomplishments in the EB-5 industry,” commented ALC CEO John Shen. “We’re so thrilled that officials like Administrator McMahon recognize the vital role we can play in the lending industry and in contributing to the economic growth of communities across America.”
